Jeffery Dean Morgan talks Red Dawn at Comic-Con
Collider.com has an interview with Jeffery Dean Morgan from last week's Comic-Con.
Check out the whole interview but if you just want the Red Dawn talk, skip to the 7 minute mark.
Welcome to the new Red Dawn Movie News Site
In anticipation of the upcoming release we thought it would be a good idea to freshen up the site a little. We still have some work to do but most of it is done. The forums are no longer part of the site as our Facebook page has become the popular place for discussions. We may still put them up in archive mode once the rest of the site is complete.
We are also in the process of rebuilding the photo gallery. Most of the photos should be up in a few days and will be more complete then before. We are working on a video gallery as well.
I know everyone is waiting to see a trailer. (us too) Hopefully soon...
Screening review
One of our followers on Facebook got a chance to see one of the screenings of Red Dawn last week. He posted his review on tumblr. Head on over and check it out then tell us what you think over on our Facebook page.
Time to move that date again
Box Office Mojo just updated the release date from November 2nd to the 21st. It looks like we get some Wolverine for Thanksgiving this year too. Open Road has not updated the date on their site yet but I'm sure that will be changing soon.
We will update the countdown clock here later this morning. Okay, we updated the countdown clock. We were under the 200 day mark, oh well.
Two Red Dawn Screenings
Looks like something is moving along. Gofobo.com has a private screening listed for Red Dawn on May 2nd in LA and an open screening May 1st in New York. They did some private screenings last year in LA so this is nothing new, but hopefully we will get to see a trailer in the near future.
Thanks to Tyler over on our Facebook page for pointing these out.
Open Road adds Red Dawn to Site

Open Road Films adds Red Dawn to the "Coming Soon" section on their website. They confirm the November 2nd release date and have a synopsys of the film.
In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky – shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.
We have also received some word that they have begun work on the promotional materials. Hopfully we will get to see some of this soon.
One Man's Terrorist Trailer
Check out this trailer for an upcoming short film/web series, "One Man's Terrorist", by David West. This three part web series "...is about a United Nations occupation of Southern Oregon and several insurgents who fight them, so it's very Red Dawn-esque."
We look forward to seeing how this turns out. The first part of the series comes out 2/15/2012.

Editors Note: Red Dawn Movie News does not endorse any candidate. This video just happens to be relevent to "Red Dawn".
