Josh Hutcherson, Nice Guy vs Evil Commies.

I received a very nice email from Lindsay about Josh Hutcherson today:

" I was at the filming location yesterday kind of watching but I was by their snack area (which was in a garage in one of the houses).  A bunch of kids/teens had been waiting for I guess at least an hour in hopes to get to meet Josh Hutcherson (he was filming yesterday jumping into the back of the truck).  I just want to say, what a nice guy.  He hadn't had a break and hadnt eaten all day but before he sat on the curb and ate his sandwich, he came over and said hello to each and every person, signing autographs, taking pictures, giving hugs....seriously I was so impressed.  He was really, really nice.  Its my first time being around anyone who does movies but I cant imagine they're all like that.  Anyway, my kids were two of them waiting they're 10 and 15 and honestly they were so excited.  He and Josh Peck are the only ones they know in the movie (me too) and Josh Hutcherson made their day.  We live on Vinsetta and they're gone now today.

Hero's Pickup Truck

Here it is an great shot I got of the hero truck. I love that they're keeping with the look of the original film for this. Windshield is cracked up with a few bullet holes for good measure.

New Royal Oak Location

We've received a bunch of emails last night and today informing us about a new shooting location. Filming is occuring right now on Rochester Rd. and Detroit Ave. They will be shooting there for the next 3 days. Again, if anyone gets any photos or video please share it with us.

Royal Oak Monday Shoot

A big bust for me today. The police had most of Vinsetta Blvd. shut down. I couldn't get anywhere near the shoot. I was able to find a Spokane, WA police car and a Jeep Cherokee on a flatbed. There was also a row of old cars with no plates. This time they had different streets closed of on the other side of Vinsetta Blvd. Below is the video of what I was able to see.

New Mount Clemens Photos Set

I received a great email yesterday From Mike Sessa. He was able to take some great photos from a few of the sets in Mount Clemens. There are pictures of the house that gets the plane wing crashing through it, the bar, and this one below of Isabel Lucas Isabel Lucas' stand in (in leather jacket) on set with her Mustang. That's Adrienne Palicki leaning on the car on the right of the photo.

Wood cabin location scoop.

Received a little tip last night from Robert. Apparently there is a set being built in the Highland Recreation Area for a wooded cabin scene. If any one lives near there and get any pictures or video please let us know about (see email at top of page) it so we can share with everyone else.

Troops in Royal Oak

Well, I woke up this morning to another video from CP98prods. A little shakey at first but we get some good footage of the troops in the subdivision.

Royal Oak Locations

USA! USA!

Ok I found the Royal Oak location. They are filming on the many drives off of Vinsetta Blvd. This is the sub to the south east of 12 Mile Rd. and Woodward Ave. This is a very nice neighborhood with very large homes. The roads are curved and the police have a large area shut down so it is hard to see much. I did see the pickup truck seen in the video dragging a Chinese pilot. On the other side of Vinsetta is a large catering tent for the extras. I believe this is for the U.S. troop extras. You'll see in the video the rack of military gear and all the hummers parked down the street. When I was there it looked like no filming was happening now but will be later this evening. They were doing a lot of set up and bringging out a lot of food.

New Videos!

UPDATE: Yes this first video is in Royal Oak I found the location on my lunch today. I wiil be updating soon with my findings.

Looks like we have a bunch of hummers lined up! This could be Royal Oak or Pontiac. I will update once I find out. Great vid, I want to see more.
