Red Dawn changing enemies again.

Well it looks like all the press about MGM changing the invaders in Red Dawn to the N. Koreans has made them rethink their decision. It seems the distributors MGM is looking at to release their film want to make sure no one is offended by this film. Sony Pictures, who was rumored to be the major Red Dawn distibutor for the U.S. market has been testing their upcoming release of Smurfs. It has been testing very poorly and were looking for a way to save the film. The result of this is the removal of all the human actors in Red Dawn and replacing them with the Smurfs from Sony's film. With this change there will be no chance of offending anyone from Smurf village, as there are no plans to release the film there. No word yet if they will change the name to Blue Dawn, but I have it on good word that this will be the new title.
